96B Certified copies
A person making a request for a certificate, copy or image under section 96A may request that the Registrar-General certify the certificate, copy or image.
A request must be—
made in the form approved by the Registrar-General, and
accompanied by the prescribed fee.
Information is certified by the Registrar-General if the document containing the information is—
signed by the Registrar-General, and
sealed with the Registrar-General’s seal.
Information certified under this section may be received by a court, tribunal or other decision-maker as prima facie proof of the information.
