Screen and Digital Games Industries Act 2025

The Advisory Committee may establish subcommittees to assist with the Committee’s functions.

Without limiting subsection (1), a subcommittee may be established to manage the allocation of funding to participants in the screen and digital games production industries.

To avoid doubt, a subcommittee need not consist of all members of the Advisory Committee, including the chairperson of the Advisory Committee.

The chairperson of a subcommittee has—

a deliberative vote, and

if there is an equality of votes—a second or casting vote.

Subject to this regulation, the other procedures of a subcommittee must be decided by the Advisory Committee.
