1 Existing employees who may elect to contribute to Fund
Except as provided by subclause (2), this Schedule applies to a person—
who was, immediately before 1 July 1985, an employee but was not contributing to the Fund, and
who would, but for section 1A, be required or entitled, subject to the provisions of this Act, to contribute to the Fund.
This Schedule does not apply to—
a person exempted from contributing to the Fund under section 10T,
a person who was, under section 10D, treated by STC as if he or she were not an employee,
a person to whom clause 4 (1) of Schedule 17 applies, or
a person of a class prescribed by the regulations.
