18 Payment of subsidy
Commencing in the year 1986, in each year there shall be paid from the Consolidated Fund to the Border Fence Maintenance Fund, without further appropriation than this Act:
(a)
a sum, determined by the Treasurer, that does not exceed the total amount of rates collected under this Act during the preceding year, or
(b)
the sum of $100,000,
whichever is the greater.
