7 Public hospital rates of treatment
(1)
Until the regulations otherwise provide, the amount for which an employer is liable in respect of hospital treatment of a worker at a public hospital is (after the commencement of the 1989 Amending Act) the amount prescribed under section 62 (2)–(4) as in force immediately before that commencement.
(2)
A reference in this clause to the commencement of the 1989 Amending Act is a reference to the commencement of Schedule 8 (4) to the Workers Compensation (Benefits) Amendment Act 1989.
