Constitution and functions of Authority

In force

(1)

There is constituted by this Act a corporation with the corporate name of the Workers Compensation (Dust Diseases) Authority.

(2)

The Authority is a NSW Government agency.

See section 13A of the Interpretation Act 1987.

(3)

The Authority has the following functions—

(a)

to determine claims for compensation under this Act,

(b)

such other functions as are conferred or imposed on it by or under this or any other Act.
