11 Meetings of Board
(1) Subject to subsection (2), a meeting of the Board is to be convened by the Chairperson by giving written notice to the other members, and must be held at the time and place specified in the notice.
(2) The Minister may, by written notice given to each of the members, directthat a meeting be held at the time and place specified in the notice and, if no Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson has been elected by the Board, may also direct that a member specified in the notice must preside at the meeting until a Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson is elected by the Board.
A meeting of the board must be presided over by:
the Chairperson; or
in the absence of the Chairperson, the Deputy Chairperson.
(5) Three members present at a meeting of the Board constitute a quorum of the Board.
(6) All questions before a meeting of the Board must be decided by a majority of votes of the members present.
(7) The presiding member at a meeting of the Board has a deliberative vote and, in the event of an equality of votes, also has a casting vote.
The Board must keep minutes of its meetings.
Subject to this Act, the Board may determine its own procedures.
