Audit Act 1995

Where a person employed in the Public Sector, within the meaning of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 1993, is appointed to be the Auditor-General, he or she, while holding that office, retains all rights and privileges accrued or accruing to him or her under the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 1993 as if the service as the Auditor-General were a continuation of service as an employee in the Public Sector, and those rights and privileges continue to accrue during his or her tenure of office as the Auditor-General as if he or she had remained an employee in the

Public Sector.
