49 Sterilisation
(1)
The council may approve a mark to be used to identify a dog that has been sterilised.
(2)
The council may approve a certificate of sterilisation to be issued to the owner of a dog that has been sterilised.
(3)
If the council has approved a form of certificate of sterilisation under clause (2), a veterinarian who sterilises a dog must give a certificate in the approved form to the owner of the dog.
