48 Method of destruction of impounded dogs
A dog in a pound must not be destroyed other than:
(a)
by a veterinarian or a person who is, in the opinion of a pound supervisor, qualified to destroy the dog; and
(b)
in a humane manner that causes the dog to die quickly and without unnecessary suffering.
