24 No general right of de facto partner to maintenance
(1)
A de facto partner is liable to maintain the other de facto partner and a de facto partner is entitled to claim maintenance from the other de facto partner only as provided by this Division.
(2)
A de facto partner may apply to a court for an order under this
Division for maintenance whether or not an application for any other remedy or relief has been made, or may be made, under this or any other Act or law.
(3)
Sections 15, 16 and 17 apply in relation to an order under this
Division as they apply in relation to an order under Division 3.
