46 Service of documents
A document that is required by or under this Act to be given or served on a person is to be given or served:
by delivering the document to the person personally; or
by sending the document by prepaid post to the person at his or her last-known place of residence or business or, if he or she is carrying on business at 2 or more places, at one of those places; or
by sending the document by prepaid post to the person at his or her last-known postal address; or
by leaving the document at the last-known place of residence of the person with some person who is apparently living at that place and who is apparently not less than 16 years of age; or
by leaving the document at the last-known place of business of the person or, if he or she is carrying on business at 2 or more places, at one of those places with some person who is apparently employed by the person and who is apparently not less than 16 years of age.
