38 Procedure for making and notifying decisions
When the Minister is deciding a geothermal authority application, the Minister must follow the procedures prescribed by regulation in relation to the following matters:
the matters to be taken into consideration in making the decision;
giving notice about the decision or the intention to make the decision;
the period within which the applicant may make submissions to the
Minister about the decision or intention;
giving notice about the applicant's entitlement to a review of the decision.
The Minister may, if it is necessary to ensure procedural fairness, extend a period prescribed for subsection (1).
