ICAC to act in public interest

(1)

If the ICAC has a discretion in performing a function under this

Act, the ICAC is to act in the public interest, taking into account the matters set out in Schedule 1 that the ICAC considers relevant and appropriate in any particular case.

(2)

Subject to subsection (3), this section does not create any legal rights in any person or give rise to any civil cause of action.

(3)

Subsection (2) does not affect a person's right to seek judicial review of administrative action by the ICAC.
