30 Identity cards
(1) The Director must issue to each authorised officer appointed under section 29(1) an identity card containing a photograph and the signature of the authorised officer.
(2) Subject to section 32(3), an authorised officer must produce his or her identity card on being requested to do so by a person in respect of whom the authorised officer has exercised or is about to exercise his or her powers under this Act.
(3) A person must as soon as reasonably possible after ceasing to be an authorised officer return his or her identity card to the Director.
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
An offence against subsection (3) is a regulatory offence.
