15 Interpretation
In this Part:
court means, in relation to a claim, the court or arbitrator by or before whom the claim falls to be determined.
damage includes loss of life and personal injury.
dependant means a person for whose benefit an action could be brought under the Compensation (Fatal Injuries) Ordinance
1974.
wrong means an act or omission that:
gives rise to a liability in the tort of negligence;
amounts to a breach of a contractual duty of care that is concurrent with a duty of care in tort; or
amounts to a breach of statutory duty.
A reference in this Part to the wrong of a person shall be deemed to include a reference to a wrong for which that person is vicariously responsible.
