141 Disclosure of information to ASIC
(1)
This section applies if the Law Society, in connection with exercising powers or performing functions under this Act, acquired information concerning a corporation that is or was an incorporated legal practice.
(2)
The Society may disclose to the Australian Securities and
Investments Commission information concerning the corporation that is relevant to the Commission's functions.
(3)
Information may be provided under subsection (2) despite any law relating to secrecy or confidentiality, including any provisions of this Act.
