549 Request from another jurisdiction to investigate complaint
This section applies in relation to a request received by the
Law Society from a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of any aspect of a complaint being dealt with under a corresponding law.
The Society may conduct the investigation or authorise another authority to conduct it.
The provisions of this Chapter relating to the investigation of a complaint apply, with any necessary adaptations, in relation to the investigation of the relevant aspect of the complaint that is the subject of the request.
The Society must provide a report on the result of the investigation to the corresponding authority.
