1.14 Power to act by legal practitioner, &c.
Unless the contrary intention appears, anything in proceedings that is required or permitted by these Rules, an Act or another law to be done by a party may be done:
(a)
by the party's legal practitioner; or
(b)
with the leave of the Court, by some other person.
