19.06 Notice to dispute authenticity of documents

(1)

A party may file and serve on another party a notice stating that unless the other party, within the time expressed in the notice (being not less than 14 days after service), disputes the authenticity of the documents specified in the notice that party will be taken to admit their authenticity.

(2)

A notice to dispute the authenticity of documents referred to in subrule (1) is to be in accordance with Form 19E.

(3)

A party served with a notice under subrule (1) may dispute the authenticity of documents specified in the notice by filing and serving, within the time expressed in that notice, a notice in accordance with Form 19F.

(4)

If a party served with a notice under subrule (1) does not dispute the authenticity of a document, the party is taken to admit its authenticity.

(5)

With the leave of the Court, a party may withdraw an admission that is taken to have been made under subrule (4).
