40.01 Change in legal practitioner
(1)
Where a legal practitioner acts for a party in proceedings and the party changes his or her legal practitioner, the party must without delay file a notice of the change and serve a copy on the other parties and, where practicable, on his or her former legal practitioner.
(2)
The address for service of a party who files and serves a notice under subrule (1) is the business address of the new legal practitioner.
