49.05 Dispute of liability by garnishee
(1)
If a garnishee disputes liability for payment of the debt to the judgment debtor, he or she may file and serve on the judgment creditor and judgment debtor an affidavit stating that fact and the grounds on which liability is disputed.
(2)
The affidavit is to be served not less than 7 days before the date fixed for the hearing.
(3)
At the hearing, the Court must determine liability or give directions for its determination.
