Application
6 Application
Subject to this Act, where a person is or has been, on or after the commencement of this Act, employed in the Territory, this Act applies to and in relation to the person's employment at any time before or after the commencement of this Act.
This Act does not apply to or in relation to:
a person in respect of whom provision for long service leave is made by another law of the Territory, or of the Commonwealth or of a State;
a person to whom an award applies making provision for long service leave; or
a person employed in an honorary capacity.
Nothing in this Act allows an employee to obtain credit for long service leave more than once in respect of the same period of employment.
