Method of destruction of impounded dogs

In force

A dog in a pound shall not be destroyed other than:

(a)

by a veterinarian or a person who is, in the opinion of a pound manager, qualified to destroy the dog; and

(b)

in a manner that is approved by the Australian Veterinary

Association.
