59 General offences and penalties
(1)
A person who contravenes or fails to comply with this Act or a direction, restriction, requirement, or condition given, made, or imposed under this Act is guilty of an offence.
(2)
Subject to this Act, a person guilty of an offence against this
Act for which no other penalty is prescribed is, on conviction, liable to a penalty not exceeding 100 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years and, if the offence is a continuing one, to a further penalty not exceeding 5 penalty units for each day after the first day on which the offence continues.
