16 Grounds to authorise a restrictive practice
The Senior Practitioner may grant an authorisation or interim authorisation if:
(a)
the behaviour support plan or interim behaviour support plan is consistent with the principles of this Act; and
(b)
the behaviour support plan or interim behaviour support plan is consistent with the guidelines; and
(c)
the restrictive practice is necessary to prevent harm to the participant or others; and
(d)
the restrictive practice is the least restrictive approach reasonably available for the participant.
