77 Effect of unsuccessful conciliation
(1) If the conciliation process is unsuccessful:
(a) the police complaint must be treated as if the process had not taken place; and
(b) the conciliator must not be further involved in dealing with the complaint.
(2) However, subsection (1)(b) does not affect the powers and functions of the
Ombudsman, Commissioner or officer in charge of the Professional
Standards Command under this Part in relation to the police complaint.
