89D Forfeiture of seized thing
(1)
Despite section 89C, the court may order the forfeiture of a seized thing to the Territory if:
(a) the owner of the seized thing is found guilty of an offence for which the thing was retained as evidence; or
(b)
the court makes an order against the owner of a seized thing under Part VA.
(2)
The forfeited thing becomes the property of the Territory and may be destroyed or disposed of as directed by the CEO.
(3)
This section does not limit a court's powers under any other law.
