89G Self-incrimination

(1)

A person required to answer a question, give information or produce a document under this Subdivision is not excused from doing so on the ground that the answer, information or document might tend to incriminate the person or make the person liable to a penalty.

(2) Despite subsection (1), any answer, information or document given is not admissible in evidence against the person in a civil or criminal proceeding except a proceeding for an offence in which the falsity or misleading nature of the answer, information or document is relevant.
