102 Attendance of public at meetings
Subject to this section, the part of a meeting of the
Development Consent Authority at which evidence is to be taken in relation to an application for a development permit is to be open to the public and the applicant for a permit.
Despite subsection (1), if, in the opinion of the Chair:
information disclosed or likely to be disclosed at a meeting of the Development Consent Authority in respect of a particular application should be treated as confidential; or
the absence of the public from a meeting of the Development
Consent Authority in relation to an application is necessary or likely to be necessary for the orderly conduct of a meeting,
he or she may direct that the meeting be closed to the public.
If the Chair directs under subsection (2) that a meeting is closed to the public, the meeting is closed to the public.
The part of a meeting of the Development Consent Authority during which part deliberations in respect of a development application are occurring is not open to the public or the applicant.
