12B Planning Commission views on request and decision
(1)
The Minister may ask the Planning Commission for its views on the strategic planning implications of a proposed amendment to a planning scheme.
(2)
The Minister must give written notice to the person or body requesting the amendment if the Minister asks the Planning Commission for its views.
(3)
The Planning Commission must give the Minister a report on its views if asked under subsection (1).
(4)
The Minister must:
(a)
give a copy of the Planning Commission's report to the person or body requesting the amendment; and
(b)
give that person or body a reasonable opportunity to respond to that report.
