19 Notice to local government council if proposal relates to land in council area
(1)
If a proposal relates to land partly or entirely within a council area, the Minister must give the local government council for the council area written notice of the proposal.
(2)
The notice must contain the information specified in the notice published under section 17 and an invitation to the local government council to make a submission about the proposal under section 22.
(3)
In response to the notice, the local government council may:
(a)
make a submission about the proposal under section 22(1); or
(b)
give the Commission advice or comment on the proposal under section 22(4).
