Application of section 166A to matters before commencement

In force

For determining 10 years continuous service under section 166A in relation to a member, any of the following that happened before the commencement of this section may be taken into account:

(a)

the appointment of, and service by, the member;

(b)

after the member's appointment – the member's secondment to a prescribed entity within the meaning of section 166A;

(c)

any of the following:

(i)

the member's resignation;

(ii)

the member's resignation and application for re‑appointment;

(ii)

the member's resignation, application for re-appointment and subsequent re-appointment;

(d)

any period of unpaid leave taken by the member.
