8 Dealings in land
Subject to this section, a dealing in relation to land (a lease of land for a period of not more than one year excepted) purporting to take effect in pursuance of the exercise of a power shall be of no force or effect unless the instrument creating the power is registered.
Subject to any other law in force in the Territory, upon the registration, at any time subsequent to a dealing in relation to land referred to in subsection (1), of the instrument creating the power, the dealing shall take effect as if the instrument creating the power had been registered before the instrument purporting to give effect to the dealing.
The fee for registration of a dealing in relation to land is the prescribed fee.
