Public sector principles

Current

(1)

The general principles underlying this Act are as follows:

(a)

the administration management principle;

(b)

the human resource management principle, including:

(i)

the merit principle; and

(ii)

the equality of employment opportunity principle;

(c)

the performance and conduct principle.

(2)

The public sector principles must be upheld by the following:

(a)

the Commissioner;

(b)

Agencies;

(c)

Chief Executive Officers;

(d)

employees.
