70 Authorised officers
The NT EPA may, by notice in the Gazette, appoint:
a person to be an authorised officer; or
(b) the members of a class of persons at a particular time or from time to time to be authorised officers,
for the purposes of this Act.
(2) An authorised officer may be appointed on the conditions, if any, the NT EPA specifies in the instrument of appointment.
(3) Where a person appointed under subsection (1) is an employee within the meaning of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 1993, the appointment ceases to have effect when the person ceases to be such an employee.
(4) An authorised officer may resign by written notice delivered to the NT EPA.
