Part 11Interstate transfer of detainees and youths under supervision
185 Transfer from State to Territory
(1)
If a corresponding Minister makes a written request to the
Minister to accept the transfer of an interstate detainee to the
Territory, the Minister may agree if satisfied there are adequate facilities in the Territory for the transferee to be accepted.
(2)
The Minister must specify the detention centre to which the transferee is to be delivered.
