288 Dealing with particular trust property
Subsection (2) applies to a trustee, other than the State, if the trustee receives an amount paid under section 128 for the price of a dwelling.
The trustee must ensure an amount equal to the amount received is used by the trustee for housing services for Aboriginal people concerned with the land held by the trustee.
Subsection (4) applies to the lessee of a townsite lease if the lessee receives an amount paid under section 128 for the price of a dwelling.
The lessee must ensure an amount equal to the amount received is used by the lessee for housing services for Aboriginal people concerned with the land the subject of the townsite lease.
Subsection (6) applies to the trustee of available land if the trustee receives an amount for a social housing dwelling situated on the available land.
The trustee must ensure an amount equal to the amount received is used by the trustee for housing services for Aboriginal people concerned with the land held by the trustee.
In this section—housing service means—
providing housing to an individual for residential use; or
any of the following kinds of service—
tenant advisory services;
tenant advocacy services;
home maintenance services;
home modification services;
housing-related referral and information services.
trustee includes a trustee, under the Land Act, of Aboriginal trust land.
