296 Existing interest in transferable land

(1)

This section applies to an interest in transferable land that is a residential tenancy agreement if, on the commencement—

(a)

the agreement is in force; and

(b)

the Minister had not consented to the creation of the interest under section 282.

(2)

On the commencement, the Minister is taken to have consented to the creation of the interest under section 282 as in force before the commencement.

(3)

In this section—commencement means the day this section commences.
