50SA Application of this division to former designated officers
(1)
A relevant provision applies to the disclosure of confidential information by a former designated officer in the same way as the provision applies to the disclosure of confidential information by a designated officer.
(2)
For subsection (1), a reference in the relevant provision to a designated officer is taken to be a reference to a former designated officer.
(3)
In this section—
former designated officer means a person who was, but is no longer, a designated officer.
relevant provision means section 50E, 50F, 50IA, 50J, 50M, 50O or 50Q.
