Building Act 1975

Each supporting document must—

state the following details of the person who prepared them—

the person’s name;

if the person is a designated person—the person’s registration or licence number as a designated person; or

be accompanied by another document that—

states the information mentioned in paragraph (a); and

identifies each supporting document.

In this section—designated person means a person who—

is an architect under the Architects Act 2002; or

is a licensed builder; or

under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991, holds a licence of any of the following classes—

building design—low rise;

building design—medium rise;

building design—open; or

is a registered professional engineer under the Professional Engineers Act 2002.
