Power of Registrar to refuse to register or reject documents
606 Power of Registrar to refuse to register or reject documents
The Registrar may refuse to register or may reject a document submitted to the Registrar if the Registrar considers the document—
contains matter contrary to law; or
contains matter that is false or misleading in a material particular in the form or context in which it is included; or
because of an omission or misdescription, has not been properly completed; or
does not comply with the requirements of this Law; or
contains an error, amendment or erasure; or
has been submitted by electronic transmission in a form that is not readily or satisfactorily accessible by the Registrar.
If the Registrar refuses to register or rejects a document under subsection (1), the Registrar may ask that—
the document be appropriately amended; or
a fresh document be submitted in its place; or
if the document has not been properly completed—a supplementary document in the approved form be submitted.
