101 Appointments continue
(1)
A clerk of the court, or acting clerk of the court, who immediately before the commencement of this section was holding an inquest is taken to be a coroner for the purpose of the inquest.
(2)
Another person who, immediately before the commencement of this section, held an appointment to a position under the Coroners Act 1958 that is equivalent to a position under this Act is taken to hold the position under this Act.
(3)
The person continues to hold the appointment subject to this Act until—
(a)
the end of the term of appointment; or
(b)
reappointed under this Act.
