230 Lodging of claim
(1)
A claim for election funding for an election or elections must be lodged with the commission—
(a)
during the period of 20 weeks after the polling day for the election or elections to which the claim relates; or
(b)
within a longer period the commission, before the end of the period specified in paragraph (a), fixes.
(2)
The commission must not fix a longer period under subsection (1)(b) unless it is satisfied it is justified in the circumstances.
