445 Records required to be kept by election participants
For new part 11, division 12A, until the start date—
an amount paid into the State campaign account of a registered political party or candidate in an election is taken not to be a prescribed matter for the party or candidate; and
a political donation does not include a political donation within the meaning of new section 250.
In this section—start date means the latest of the following days—
1 July 2022;
if a general election is held during June 2022—the day that is 30 days after the polling day for the election;
for a candidate in a by-election held during June 2022—the day that is 30 days after the polling day for the by-election.
