Electricity Act 1994

Subsection (2) applies if, immediately before the commencement, a special approval authorised only either of the following—

the sale of electricity;

the provision of customer retail services.

The special approval ceases to have effect.

Subsection (4) applies if, immediately before the commencement, a special approval authorised—

either—

the sale of electricity; or

the provision of customer retail services; and

the performance of other activities under the approval.

The special approval is taken to have been amended to remove the authorisation for the sale of electricity or the provision of customer retail services.
