Before deciding the application, the chief executive may, by notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to give the chief executive, within a reasonable stated period of at least 30 days, further information or a document the chief executive reasonably requires to decide the application.

The notice may require the further information or document to be included in the management plan or an amended management plan.

The applicant is taken to have withdrawn the application if, within the stated period, the applicant does not comply with the requirement under subsection (1).

A notice under subsection (1) may be given to the applicant only within 30 days after the chief executive receives the application.

The information or document must be verified by statutory declaration, if so required by the notice.
