At any time before deciding the application, the chief executive may give a notice to the applicant—

stating any changes the chief executive recommends to the application, including the management plan; and

inviting the applicant to give the chief executive an amended application reflecting the changes within a reasonable stated period of at least 30 days.

To remove any doubt, it is declared that if the applicant gives the chief executive an amended application in response to the notice within the stated period, sections 52 to 55 apply to the amended application.
