False or misleading information in application for authority or security clearance

In force

A person must not—

(a)

state anything in an application for the issue of an authority or security clearance the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular; or

(b)

omit from an application for the issue of an authority or security clearance anything without which the application is, to the person’s knowledge, misleading in a material particular.

Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
