How oral representations may be made
83 How oral representations may be made
Subject to this part, the commission may allow the person to make oral representations about the proposed action stated in the show cause notice in the way the commission considers appropriate.
If asked by the person, the commission must allow another person (a person’s representative) to make oral representations to the commission to show why the proposed action should not be taken.
However, a person’s representative may be a lawyer only if the commission considers it appropriate in the interests of justice to allow the representations to be made by a lawyer.
The commission may, in appropriate cases, allow a person to make oral representations by using any technology allowing reasonably contemporaneous and continuous communication between the person and the commission.
